Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN and the Minister for Power, Housing and Works, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN are amongst dignitaries expected at the 2015  annual dinner of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Lagos branch.

Both government functionaries, who are also lawyers,  will join colleagues at the annual celebration of the Premier Bar, NBA Lagos branch, slated to hold on December 10, at the Shell Hall, MUSON Centre, Lagos.

The event is part of the year-end tradition of the Bar to foster unity among its members as well as honour those, who have distinguished themselves in their fields of practice and continue to make valuable contributions to the legal profession in Nigeria. This year, the branch will honour lawyers recently conferred with the rank of Senior Advocates of Nigeria, SAN.

To speak on the theme for this year, “Undressing Themis” is the Chairman of the Editorial Board of THISDAY Newspapers, Segun Adeniyi, while the Chief Judge of Lagos State, Hon. Justice Funmilayo Atilade will be the distinguished guest at the event.

Themis in Greek terms personifies divine order, law, natural law and custom.
