A group of lawyers under the platform of Lawyers for Change (Lawyers4Change) has described as mischievous, the call for a shift in the dates for the forthcoming general elections in the country.

Besides, the body chastised those engaged in the controversy on General Buhari’s candidacy as that of uninformed minds.

Speaking at a press conference in Lagos, the group urged Nigerians to stop abusing the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, General Muhammadu Buhari, but rather focus their attention on issues that can get the country out of her present problems.

National Coordinator of the group, Mr Adesina Ogunlana advised the Independent National Election Commission, INEC, to redouble its efforts and meet the challenges of holding the elections next month.
