The meeting between the Minister of Education and the leadership of Polytechnics teaching staff has just ended in Abuja.

But the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics insists the strike continues as the Minister appeals for their understanding.

The striking lecturers commenced a nationwide strike on Tuesday over what they termed neglect of the Polytechnic by the government.
