FORMER governor of Edo State, Professor Oserheimen Osunbor, Thursday, resigned his appointment as Chairman of Nigerian Law Reform Commission.
In his letter obtained by the Vanguard, Osunbor cited personal reasons for the resignation which takes effect from March 31, 2015, but to political observers this is not unconnected with his switch from PDP to APC.
In a well attended rally in Ekpoma last week, Osunbor was formally adopted into the party by Governor Adams Oshiomhole along with over 2,000 of his supporters.
Following his switch, APC won 21 out of 24 seats in Edo State House of Assembly.
