The Lagos State High Court will on Monday hear a suit filed by aggrieved Landlords at Ogudu Muslim Community Praying Ground, Oworonsoki/Ibadan Expressway, Ogudu area of the state.
The plaintiffs, who claim they have valid certificates of occupancy and deeds of assignment, are praying the court to restrain Mr. Ajibola Bisiriyu from encroaching on the land.
They accused the defendant of invading the land in April last year with policemen on the basis that the state government allocated the land to him for development.
The landlords first petitioned the Lagos State Special Task Force on Land Grabber and the Zone 2 Command of the Police but the dispute could not be resolved.
The plaintiffs then sued, praying for an order to restrain Bisiriyu from possessing the land.

The landlords are praying the court for a declaration that by virtue of their CofOs and deeds of assignment, they are the rightful owners of the land.
The claimants are Prince Wale Alaba Oyekoya, Mrs Pauline Wandoo NSA, and Ms Oreoluwa Edowaye Obasuyi

They are praying for N200million damages against the defendant for lost building materials during the alleged invasion.
